So yesterday I picked up Eboun from work and we went over to our friend Carley Beseman’s spot.  The St. Paul Art Crawl is in full effect and her spot at the Tilsner Building is bustling with people.  Last year I bought a print of one of her self portraits, this year I am debating buying her whole “Alice in Wonderland” series.   She doesn’t have a TON of new stuff this year but the stuff from last year shows well still and it is always cool to see a friend. 

It’s interesting to see the types of people that come to these crawls.  I’m sure the artists have a different take but I kinda figure you can look at a person and often tell what their likes and dislikes are.  At least sometimes…  There are a lot of people that walked in and out during our short time there that looked more like hockey fans than art fans.  Not saying that the way you dress is “athletic” or “lazy” but it’s fairly “Minnesota”.  You dig?  Thanks for shaking up my idea of what art fans are….  The following picture is in no way supposed to illustrate that point by the way;

In the end, I just really want a remote control helicopter now… is that so wrong?
