If you’re wondering where all the content for my old blog went, I’m sorry. Poof, it’s gone.
I’ve decided to re-dedicate this blog to the workbench in my garage. I have some project vehicles, and I would like to share what I’m doing with them. I plan to document what happens on and around the bench with lots of photos, so hopefully this will be the first and last text only post.
The projects;
This past summer, I bought a 1965 Lincoln Continental. It’s white, and it’s pretty awesome looking sitting in my garage. It runs rough, and I’m going to make it purr like a kitten. There’s also some suspension/wheel/vaccuum/electrical issues I need to address. Wide white wall tires and new steelies are in the works.for this winter. I’ve had it out and driven it around a bit, but it’s in need of a little TLC. Expect more on that.
2 years back, I bought a 1975 Honda CB750k. It’s the first Honda with DOHC, and it currently runs on 3 cylinders. My friend Keith has promised to help me get the bike up and running. Long term, I have some cosmetic goals, but for now, I just want to ride it.
Eboun just bought a 2008 VW GTI. It’s already seen a little bit of drama, but as the newest thing in our stable, it’s also the thing that’s going to need the least repair. New wheels are in the plans for spring, and although she doesn’t know it yet, there may be a few other tweaks coming.
Lastly, we got Eboun a 1981 Honda something motorcycle. It was free, and the petcock appears to be bad. Gotta figure that out. I believe it’s a 450cc bike. That’ll be coming home in a couple of weeks.
Our garage is going to be full. So the workbench is going to be busy!
This blog will be getting a slight facelift in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. Comments/questions welcome.
