Peanut Butter Bacon Sandwiches
Eric, Sean, and Rachel came over last night. We whipped up some of these bad boys….
Zen Box – MPLS
Eboun and I went to Zen Box on Washington Ave in Minneapolis the other night. Neither of us had been before and on a recommendation from her brother, decided to go after The Moth show. The food was great, but it’s hard to figure out why a bowl of ramen costs ten dollars. I don’t get it at all.
Still, I’d recommend checking them out…

We stopped for dinner at one of our favorite spots. LOVE this place. Next year, when I’m back to drinking, I’ll have to do a Vodka blog. This would be a good start/end spot.
The Anchor
Keith, Scott and I braved the blizzard of last weekend to have some delicious shepherds pie at The Anchor in NE.
It was amazing
What to do with a Turkey Carcass…
Making turkey broth…. It’s midnight now. I’ll let this cook overnight and then I’ll strain it. We’ll see how it turns out.
So, what’s in it? The remains of a smoked/mostly eaten turkey, an onion, some carrots, celery, garlic, shallots, and a couple bay leaves. That’s it.
Dinner
I didn’t make the noodles, but the sauce is from scratch.
Home made chicken broth, sliced mushrooms, cream, white wine, pepper, and love. Add shrimp and toss the noodles in it. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese and enjoy!
