This is a major event for the guys at Get Cryphy. I really want to go but now I’m not sure I’ll be able to. Either way, congrats to the Get Cryphy crew. Last week, they tore down Red Rock in CO with Atmosphere and Common, this month they will be here;
It would be easy to go back and pull the photos of the Porsche or the slammed BMW or any of the cookie cutter Audi’s. The car that I think grabbed me the most was this VW. It’s low, rusty, and just ooozing character don’t you think?
I will definitely be returning to this car show next year (and hopefully the weather will be more co-operative) with plans to take many, many more photos.

Well, it’s a Saturday morning and I woke up to see what was happening out the window. Immediately, I picked up my camera, scraped off my car and headed for the nearest park. In this case, I found myself at Boom Island. The first snow of the year is slushy stuff. That means it’s sticky stuff. That means it’s clinging to trees and being pretty…

So, it’s raining and I assumed this would be cancelled but Eboun and I wandered over anyway. Every year in Northeast Minneapolis they host this car show at the old brewery. I’m sure the rain scared away the Ferarris that were there last year, but there were still a few gems. Enjoy the VW’s, BMW’s, Porsche’s, etc. of the midwest.

So, today, for the first time this year, I rode my bike to work. It feels good to be this awake at my desk so early in the morning. If only it were so easy to leave the house on a bike at 5:30am. I got to work and did the www.mapmyride.com thing to see what sort of workout it is, and if you are to believe the website, I burned 918 calories before even getting to my desk this morning. Not so shabby.
